About Me

My name is Shannon McGurgan and I have been involved in Circus Performance for the last 15 years. Prior to this I had spent ten years doing competitive and recreational gymnastics.

I have performed in The USA, Japan,Turkey, Taiwan, China and all over Australia as an acrobat and I have relished the challenge of maintaining the diversity in skill required to stay in work as a circus performer.

I believe this is reflected in my show where I draw on any number of these skills to keep you entertained. I am an accomplished singer songwriter with several CD’s so don’t be surprised if I break into song at any time during my show. I am also currently practicing as a registered nurse.
