Past Incarnations & Other Skills

My first incarnation of Shaggles was "Shagz Bagz the Clown" who performed a traditional style kids show as well as making balloon figures.

During this time I performed for the Kosovo refugees in Portsea as well as The Richmond and North Melbourne Football Clubs.

As I increased my circus skills, I also developed my wonderful children's character, firstly by changing his name to Shaggles and then by altering his costume.
It was during this time that I was appearing on stage regularly with his childhood hero Humphrey B Bear.

I have constantly improved and grown as a performer, always using my new skills and experience to develop Shaggles. I have skills in trapeze, acro-balance, and acrobatics which have taken me to many countries all over the world. I also spent one-year full time at The National Institute of Circus Arts honing my physicality and getting a greater understanding of the subtleties of character work.

My wealth of experience is reflected in my current incarnation of Shaggles, who is no longer the inept yet loveable clown character that he was. He is now an inept yet lovable Ring Master, creating an entire circus show out of thin air and bringing a lifetime of experience to your birthday or event.
